I had only been to Japan once before, but I have co-workers who travel to Japan quite frequently. One of the most popular items to bring back are Japanese Kit Kats. You see these are just ordinary, run of the mill Kit Kats, these Kit Kats cover every spectrum of the rainbow!
We went a little overboard with our procurement of Kit Kats…but the good news is I think we have enough to open our own concession stand!
Flavors:
Green Tea
Red Bean
Strawberry
Raspberry
Apple
Sweet Potato
Cantaloupe
Easter Special
Wasabi
Cheesecake
Rum Raisin
Sake
Toasted Soy Bean
Dark Chocolate
There were at least a dozen other flavors that we didn’t buy, just because we had filled up our suitcases.
The good news is that you don’t have to travel to Japan to get these Kit Kats anymore. Through the power of Amazon you can have someone else procure them for you. I bring up the Kit Kats for a couple of reasons.
- Most people don’t know there is a whole spectrum of Kit Kats beyond what we know in America and this is something that must be overcome.
- I think that this could be a neat party idea, particularly for kids. Adults could do a beer, wine, scotch tasting and you could do a Kit Kat tasting for the kids.
It is starting to warm up out there….Backyard Movie season is just around the corner!
