I am a big hard cider fan, it is very easy to make yourself, so we usually have some on tap here at the house. This cider is a little different from your traditional hard “apple” cider because you can really taste the pineapple juice, the acidity comes through nicely. This isn’t a dry cider by any means, but it isn’t overly sweet like some of the other mainstream brands like Angry Orchard.
I think that ACE Pineapple Cider would pair nicely with fish, chicken, pork, and many Asian curries. As you might expect, anything Hawaiian fusion, is going to pair nicely with this.
I give ACE Pineapple Cider really high marks. It is a little on the sweet side to have more than just a couple, so I wouldn’t say it is sessionable. If you struggle with acid reflux, the acidity of this cider could give you some heart burn issues.
All in all, if you like hard cider and you want to try something different, I would definitely pick up an ACE Pineapple Cider.
