Even though I am only in my thirties, I was lucky enough to go to a few drive-in theaters when I was growing up. We sat in the back of the car with the hatch back up, piled on top of blankets and cushions watching a double feature of Doc Hollywood and Quigley down under! It was a great time. Technology has come a long way and I grew up to be a gadget guy! In 2012, my wife and I bought a folding camper, and our small family spent the summers exploring Colorado. We would put the kid to sleep in the camper and the wife and I would sit outside by the fire. Looking at the huge empty side of the camper go me thinking and when I saw the Brookstone picoprojector an idea took hold. Soon I was showing movies on the side of camper all throughout the backwoods of Colorado and that is when the obsession took hold. This blog is intended to chronicle my journey from those humble beginnings to my current setup in hopes of helping others avoid the mistakes I made. From time to time, I will also write about my other hobbies that contribute to my outdoor entertainment efforts.
