So one of my most popular posts is the one I did about doing a turkey on my Joetisserie. I will be doing it the same way again this year, but I discovered a new way to truss the turkey. The results were some pretty spectacular chickens, I assume that the turkey will turn out the same way. I still really like my [easyazon_link identifier=”B01CCHXXHA” locale=”US” tag=”backyardmov05-20″]Joetisserie[/easyazon_link] because it has the size and motor that can support a turkey. The nice thing about using the Joetisserie for Thanksgiving is that it frees up the oven for all the other courses, which can be key when you only have one oven in the house. My experience was that this method resulted in a nice golden brown skin, that was crispy and delicious. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
