So we all bundled up and my family and I played with this set for several rounds. The nice thing about Bocce Ball is the rules are very simple, so almost anyone of any age can play it.
The game looks gorgeous, with vibrant neon colors that glow nicely in the darkness. The set we played with featured 4 colors: Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and were held in a well-built carrying case. The set was very compact for easy storage which I appreciated, much smaller than cornhole would be for example.

I don’t know if the balls are regulation size, but the Playaboule Lighted Bocce Ball set has some serious heft. Even though the balls are made of plastic, they seemed very rugged. We were playing with a used set, so there were nicks and scratches, but at night you couldn’t tell and it didn’t have an significant impact on the playability of the game. The lone issue I saw was that some of the balls would flicker when they hit the ground, a small tap and they were back in action.
The button to activate each ball is recessed so it won’t accidentally turn off or on during play, the fingernail or your pinkie finger can get in there to activate one of the 3 modes: Off, Flashing, Steady. No tools are required to change the battery, a coin will allow you to open the battery compartment. We played for almost 2 hours with no impact to the brightness of the balls.
The game is fairly expensive and you really have to look to see what color the ball is when playing in daylight. So this set is really better suited for play during dusk or night.
